The international Ecoswing consortium has developed the world’s first superconducting wind turbine generator. The objective is to make the generation of electrical power from wind turbines cheaper and more efficient, and Great Dane was chosen to document the project. Through visits to China, Germany, The Netherlands, France and Denmark we have followed the Ecoswing generator form a science fiction idea to a reality generating power to consumers from the top of a wind turbine on the Danish west coast.
